Boy, am I proud my ATX does not "see" 145cm. I could not dig a 4.5foot deep hole, let alone while shallow water detecting and to find a soda can it would be my last target for the day.!
IMPRESSIVE! to say the least. I could not find either unit for sale, but there are other post that infer a DIY (build it yourself) project although DELTA PULSE does sell several models.

I built one with no knowledge of electronics and works perfectly. I leave my video. Coil 45x45 cms.

PS: I apologize as this is a forum for ATX, just wanted to help

Hi Guys,

Can anyone please tell me what depth you can get a U.S nickle at in dry sand. Also has the 20 inch coil any advantage in depth on a u.s nickle .

Regards Below2doe.

My experience finding deep coins with the ATX would place a max depth of finding a Nickel in Dry Sand at around 14", plus or minus 1" depending on the deep sand conditions, i.e. moisture, very hard packed, mineral build-up on the coin, *etc.

* Assuming your running the ATX wide open with little or no ground balance.

I don't have the 20" coil, so I am not sure if the 20" coil would even see a nickel at 14", let alone deeper?? It may look through a nickel for something larger??

The ATX deepseeker coil will at least match the stock DD coil in sand (15"+) and starts to excell the depth of the DD when a coin is the size of a silver dollar.

Hello bearkat!!
Hope you can help, I come to bc your probably the most experienced person I've seen with the ATX deepseeker. I'm an amateur detector But I bought me the ATX bc I hope its the a detector that I need. I'm sure you are a busy guy but what settings do you recommend for the deepseeker in a very high mineralized, hot rock location. I'm looking for some buried gold my great grandpa hid around 40 years ago. Please consider that he was a hard working strong Mexican that could dig 4ft an hr in this terrain. The cashe is said to be big also
Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you

Ps: if there is a better way of communication and if I need to pay for your time I'm ok with that

Thanks Agustin
