Audio 1 rocks!!!

I went out for the first time after my shoulder surgery today and tried Audio 1 in a small park. I really liked it over normal mode. Coins really hit hard compared to false blips. Alot eaiser to use than i thought.....well today anyway. lol

I think I have mine set in Audio 1, it's great, although Audio 2 & 3 sound like carnival sounds.

Funny, I've been using Audio 2 for about 5 or 6 months now. I switched to it about 2 months into a new Exp and have used it almost exlclusively for about 6 months.. I'll admit it's a bit strange to listen to at first but I happen to prefer it over normal and Audio 1 in most areas. It's especially useful at the beach.

I'm not in an area where's there's a lot of "history" so the silver is far and few between. Basically, what I've found is just from the 50's but silver all the same. A few of them have been deep. The last one I got was in the 8-10" range. At the beach, obviously I'm looking for real deepies. I'd have to say that audio 2 really "locks" in on those, as it did with the last silver I found.

I'm still in the learning stages right now (even after 8 months)and my main focus from here on in is trying to eek out those "iffy" deep targets.

I'm also still working on how audio 2 is affected by co-located targets. For instance, a couple of weeks ago while digging dirt, I hit a very deep target that sounded solid like a nickel, with a small profile, but it was reading pull tab all the way, solid. The nickel was about 6" or so down but directly under that was a pulltab. Had I not been going by sound, I would have passed it up. (lot's of pull tabs in this area).

As I'm sure it does in Audio 1 or normal, extreme depth, soil / sand condition affects the target sound of Audio 2. I'm getting pretty good at determining what's good and what's not. Just need to work on finding the stuff others have missed over the years... stuff I know is there.

It certainly takes some getting used to, but I prefer audio 2. I've asked around and no one's said anything about there being any disadvantages over the others.

Thanks Joe for the nice response. That is rather neat that you were able to notice that there was something under that pull tab.

I've heard that Audio 2 and 3 go deeper but am not sure if that is the actual case. Maybe I should check it out in my ultra deep coins in my coin garden.
