Hi Guys,
Do you guys in the states use dive gloves or what sort of gloves for detecting in grass etc.

I have been looking for a pair that has a pinpointer built in the finger area !!!
Two birds with one stone..........LOL LOL Just kidding a little..I use Home Depot latex grip gloves..Keeps moisture out and you can grip the coins a little easier when it's wet and muddy..The straight cloth ones tend to make your fingers cold when wet

I like the mechanix style glove. Decent protection, supple, and pretty cool in the heat.

Back in Sept I was digging a good signal. It ended up being a silver plated spoon. The thing was this spoon also had a Hypodermic needle in the hole. The back side of the spoon was blackened from the "dope" bing cooked in it. I had my gloves on the hypo still had a needle in it. I am glad I had my gloves on, Beale.

I found a pair of Kevlar gloves at my building supply store. They are very thin and have lasted me all summer, but are now starting to show some holes. I used to use the latex dipped cotton ones, but found the Kevlar gloves held up much better and were a little better fitting. Ron

G'day Ray.
I hunt almost exclusively in grass. I don't wear gloves and don't need them.
I wear kevlar gloves all day at work. I work in an abattoir, with a knife all day. Frankly, they are a complete joke, as a knife will go through them, like you were not even wearing them! They give virtually no protection what so ever, don't trust them.
Mick Evans.
