Found this one piece button in an old park about 5 inches down. The front says "SOUTH AUSTRALIAN" at the top and looks like it may have said something on the bottom, but can't tell for sure. Probably silver plated at one time as some "silvery" finish is still there in a couple of spots. The back says "Bennett & Son London". It looks a lot like some of the old Police uniform buttons, which is what I think it is, but haven't been able to find any info to verify for sure. It is 22mm diameter.
Thanks for any info anyone can share!
Cheers,
Toby
Oh, also found a 1940 Florin, 1925 shilling, 1960 6p, and a couple of old pennys and 1/2 pennys (along with $34.33 in change!)
It was a good day!
