Aussie Wheaties

Hello to all. With the past mentions of Wheaties puzzling me I Googled it and found out what they were. I am posting a photo of last years finds of 3d as they are the closest coin to what we could call a wheatie regarding design, but contain 92.5% silver up to 1946. The other coin is my biggest dissapointment for 2005, my first Florin and a high silver content one at that, dug 20 days after getting my Quattro, and hit with digger as I was expecting it to be a smaller common 2 cent piece.

Hello John,
You've been holding back on us!!! Wow, love the coins. Do you require a detecting partner, split it half way with a few tips to boot! Only kidding, but really they look great. I'm impressed!
Cheers Angela

Hello finn55, Sorry I don't know what they would be worth in your money, not a lot I suspect. Interestingly the Melb 1942 3d is a key date and was worth at least $200 in UNC condition way back in 1983. It is the centre coin in the 3rd row down, the San Francisco and Denver minted 3d of the same year to the left of it were only worth $8 UNC in 1983.
