Went up North to pull out furniture, stain the deck, prepare planters, gardens etc. I also brought up my school work. I worked diligently for 6 hours then hit Nature's veggie garden for some vitamin C fortified vittles. I later worked until midnight on school work and hit the hay. This morning I awoke at 5:30 and headed up to Plattsburgh to try out the 9" coil. I don't think I ever used it up here because of all the iron in the dirt, but after the luck in CT I figured it was worth a try. The first target I dug was the tent line tensioner. I then left to see how the bass liked my new fox tail patterns and caught a 2-3 pound Lake Champlain smallie on the fly rod. I lost another one the same size then went to spend an hour with friends and a pot of coffee, then back to digging in the dirt. The first target I dug was the War of 1812 infantry button (my first of that type). I dug a few more targets including a 7.62 bullet and the silver plated relic with the star on it. After a few minutes I decided I had been blessed with a great day alone and decded to head home to spend the rest of it with my wife and you all. (First though I had to clean up and oil the finds then take some pics
