Well it turns out to be just what some of you said - lack of water & too much heat. We just got home from the hospital (3:00). They also did a kazillion tests - heart, lungs, etc and all showed good. So it's comforting to know she's in great shape. She says she has learned a lesson to drink more water. I should take a lesson from that also.

Thanks for all your thoughts & prayers, Steve & Nancy

Praise God! Nancy's okay. I know you're relieved Steve. If there's one thing I've noticed about senior citizens, over the past few years, it's that they dislike drinking water. So they drink less when they should be drinking more. Somehow senior, as well as young people, have this strange belief that drinking other liquids is the same as drinking water but it isn't. There's one other thing I have learned, in relation to this informatiion, and that is that not all people are cut out to drink 8 glasses of water each day. For some, 6 is enough. For others, they may need 10. Actually there's a real danger in drinking too much water. Drink only enough to satisfy your thirst and then ... that's enough. Food for thought.

I missed something! I better look down a few posts!

I guess I missed that one too! Glad to hear she's OK

Hey, maybe you should move out east where it's not quite as hot :)

Michigan that is!!!!

we have been planning on moving to Louisiana in a couple years or less. Not as hot, has lots of green, humidity I can handle, Steve

So glad Nancy is back home and on the whole she is okay! More water is needed when out in the heat and hot sunshine! I perspire a lot, so need more water to replenish and refresh my body! Keep on, keepin' on in faith, for you and Nancy are blessed! Amen! Ma Betty
