After a 10 year layoff from detecting, I got the bug again recently. UPS delivered my ML e-trac yesterday and I headed straight to the local park. This place has been pounded for years but we all know there is always something else. The first coin I popped out was a memorial cent, but about 10 feet away I got a great sound that repeated 12-45. About 7" down I found the 1917 Merc. All told I got 7 memorials, 2 wheats, 2 clad dimes and the merc.The bent thing is half of a piece of play money.

Any Day you find silver is a Good day. Those old pounded parks are slow to give up their treasures. Congratulations. Welcome back to the greatest Hobby in existence.
 
Nice to take a new detector to those old sites.
