Back to the heat and humidity hunting.

Was on one of my fields at 6:30 and by 9a was soaked. Not all that much digging, but did manage 2 more silver Rosies, 57 and a lawn mower dinged 61d. Fields are still pretty dry. Most of the nice rain fall in the area un-fortunately missed this area. Damp down about an inch, then crumbly ground a little past the root system then very hard dirt. Got the Rosies about mid way through the morning hunt. I was sweeping hard for 1 more, which, would have put me on 75 silver coins so far for the year. Maybe tomorrow. The cross chain is junk and was pretty much balled up about an inch deep. Real funky signal, so I dug it. F75 LTD set up as my previous hunts. HH jim tn

There ya go Jim.

And I feel you on the lack of moister. Some spots its starts ok then about 4" down it like trying to carve seasoned hickory with a butter knife. Thankfully we did get some good rains.
Same ones you did more then likely since your are east of me. And it helped in alot of spots. Still haven't done alot of hunting though.

Seems one thing or another lately. I'm glad to see someones getting that loot ;)

I believe Jim could find a silver coin just about anywhere and under any conditions...I'd sure like to just sit back in the shade and watch him someday.
