Back to the old school

I went back to the old school near my house today and have a story to share!! My first find was a 1951 wheatie it was sitting at the base of a tree on top of the soil that I have passed several time on previous hunts. The second find was a 1945 wheatie sitting on top of the soil at the base of a tree 3 over from the first one! Not sure what was going on but I just had a friend pass last week and I think he gave me a couple of easy lay ups. Also found a 1961 nickle and an old button!! Enjoy the pic.

Congrats!! Those older coins could indicate silver in that area ..

Thanks for the info B2H haven't found Silver but I ain't giving up. The area is extremely trashy I have now dug about 400 targets out of the ground mostly junk. But I am starting to get to the good stuff hopefully.
