I searched for two weeks in relic mode on my Ace trying to find rings without any luck. Well, I just plain got tired of picking trash so I switched to coins mode-I did, however, add the cursor just before the nickel just in case I got a LONG foil signal, which means a BIG piece of foil or maybe a ring. Well, I started getting coins and the coin spills,if you have your earphones high make you want to run for cover from a machine gun attack
. All of a sudden I get a screwcap/square tab signal-just the standard tone-but I always dig them. Yeah, you got it-a ring. I was breathless at first after I looked at it, but when I saw the wear and there were no markings inside, I realized it wasn't real. The WEIRD thing is that 5 seconds BEFORE I found it, I was thinking how good that Garrett left the cursor in on the coin end, as that's where I find a lot of school rings, keys,and other weird stuff.
