BAD NEWS-My tower died Saturday...

...I was on in the morning;and when I went to power up that afternoon-NOTHING...Wont light up or nothing...NATURALLY,its out of warranty.I got a computer guru from where I work gonna take a look at it...He said its 1 of 2 things:The power supply-EASY FIX-or the motherboard-and if its that,time for a whole new tower...SO-Im bringin it in tomorrow;and will know by Wednesday the verdict-If I gotta replace the tower;I will probably just get off the 'net,cause I cant afford to buy one right now,and I just dont want to,anyway.I will just use the one at work right now,or my in-laws;or my wife's at work.Here's hopin it is an easy fix!!I will let ya all know one way or the other....

What breed of machine. Maybe it is something ya can swap out harddrives in.

Hey did ya know that Michigan State University has a salvage store? Can buy used towers and such for like $25. Lansing is a ways away from ya but is there a college closer to you that might also have a salvage store? Something to think about.
