I been living here for 45yr. and never locked my shop but always lock my van and Bettys van.About 6 weeks ago some one got in our van's(one time we for got to lock the vans) and stole my pistol out of my van.Police came and got prints off the vans and made a report.Lots of cars where broke into that week-in.So the bad guys are around now.Now I lock shop and every building I have here.Time has changed like stupid "O" said they would.I went and bought me a new 380 like my old one and now I'm waiting on them to come for round two,Yep,they will get another 380,well not like they think.

Here my new 380

Life is still good

Ruger LCP 380. Weighs 9.4 OZ and is equipped with the Crimson Trace laser sight. Don't need to use the barrel sight ... just point the red dot at the punk and do whats necessary.

I figured if me or the perky Nancy gets knocked down to the ground on our back or side, we'll still be able to get off a fairly accurate shot (s). Mag holds 6 rounds with the 7th in the chamber. It has such a thin profile it shows up less in my pocket than my wallet.

Unfortunately, we have had to lock up our homes and cars for many years plus burn outside lights to make our home less attractive to bad guys at night.

We also now have a 20 something year old drug dealer on our street who recently got out of jail for armed burglary. He lives with his mother who apprently still has no control over what this punk does for his living. Some of his customers speed up and down our street and some have stopped to give us some verbal crap when we yell at them to slow down when we are walking our dogs. Several of us have found hyperdermic syringes laying in the grass on some vacent lots.

Me and my neighbors keep writing down vehicle descriptions and license tags and E-mail them to a police officer I know and trust who then fills out an intellegence report and turns it in to the drug cops .... but the punk keeps dealing.

Some of you might enjoy watching these fairly short videos produced by Crimson Trace.
