Took my Safari to a local ballfield last night. Had a ball.Found 11 quarters, 9 dimes 30 pennies. And 3 nice silver rings.1 heavy tribel ring , 1 butterfly ring, and 1 ring with a black onex.Hunting in C & J auto sens.Rings were 5 inchs down.the big one came in at 40,the others at 38-39.Not bad for 2 hours.Man it was hot!!90's Here's a tip for you'all when you dig your hole and start looking for your target don't forget to check the dirt stuck to the digger. the coin could be stuck to the digger. Before you go crazy looking in the hole.Keep on digging.

Nice job Dave, Keep hitting it, there gotta be more out there. Post some pix if you can.
Thanks for the numbers too!

Don't know how to put pics on. Trying to learn. As soon as I find out I'm going to put pics of all my finds.I have quite a collection of interesting finds and can't wait to show them.

Let me see now at total of 56 targets in two hours of MD. That gives you a little over 2 minutes per target... Love to see the holes you left and your race car technique for MD.

Come on really were you using a backhoe???

I had a little trouble posting pictures they only let you post about 400 kps had to crank my camera all the way down before taking pictures just a heads up.

They're were multible targets in some holes. One hole had 5 quarters and 1 dime .Then one signal read quarter and there was two quarters on top of each other right on top of the ground. This area has never seen a metal detector. ther are targets everywhere.YEA!! My target holes are all filled back in .Like I was never there.I respect all my area's that I hunt.I pick up all trash and never leave a mess.My digging time was approx.Having a ball with this thing.I'm up to 395 coins at this one ball field.Oldest is one cent 1894.Still trying to get pic's on line. Happy hunting..

edjcox I see you haven't been in a place that is "loaded" more than likely. I've been in many spots like that. When targets are coming real quick like that I just don't get off my knees. A friend of mine just uses the pinpointer while in digging position when it's fast and furious. Most of the time the coins are just under the surface when it's like that. What's fun is you find a target and when you set the detector down to get the target it is showing another target where the coil sat on the ground. It can be like a dog chasing his tail! Fun fun fun
