Yep, the dredged replenishment sand continues to surprise us NJ hunters. Got out for a few hours Saturday, and in between the old ships spikes (another couple pounds of brass, copper, and lead) I got another great looking Barber Dime - too bad he's been "Ric'd". But again, any silver coin that looks this good after being in the sea for 75+ years is still a neat find (as-found condition - again, where are these coins hiding that is keeping them from blackening / corroding?)
On another note, I was cleaning up some of last years old finds and came across some foriegn coins that might be silver. Anyone out there know if 1930's era Mexican centavo's (see second post for photo) are silver or a percentage of silver?

And you'll be happy to know that the reason for both drops in standard was in order to repay war debts to the USA. Thanks guys <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">.
