Hit pinpoint button then start button and you will have 4 non motion all metal modes to select from. I just use the all metal non motion do do both. Verify the target is not iron and pin point.
 
thanks. i was more interested in the non motion audio discrimination mode which needs some calibration. i like that mode. tests online have showed it getting 4-6" additional depth than standard mode. maybe this mode gives additional depth too.
 
Yes it does . And you can hunt old park sites and kick up the discrimination as you see fit. Remember it can drift so get an audible threshold in tune. Regards
