Batteries???

I just bought a 6000D the first one made i think.I paid 100$ was it a good buy? But I don't think it has the batteries and charger, if it arrives without what can I use or what should I use? I think it takes 14 AAs.
 
I have the same machine and looking at the pic the battery holders are there you can buy rechargeable batteries for it also when you do buy the charger also.
 
I have the same one I got it in1986 , have had to get new battery Holder's. I found them at radio shack
 
The one thing about the older machines is the coils can age poorly and become erratic. That coil looks like it has been taken care of though and protected from UV/nasty environment. Bet your good.
