Hi all:
I just ordered a CS7 and was looking at rechargable AA batteries for it. I noticed that the Nickel Metal Hydride have only 1.2 volts as opposed to 1.5 volts for the rechargable alkaline batteries and the regular alkaline batteries. Will this voltage difference cause any loss of performance?
Thanks, John.

Probably not. Most designs use internal voltage regulators, plus even alkaline batteries will easily drop down to 1.2 volts or so during normal use. Plus, NiMH has a lower internal resistance and higher capacity, so they may work even better in a PI detector where there's a high current pulse.
