Battery case mod.. need link..

Finally decided to get another XLT after years without any Whites units, I remember back a few years there was a post on a site telling how to convert the standard AC battery holder to make it a rechargable pack. I did one back then with no trouble, but I don't have the link to do another one now.

Anyone know where this site is?

my XLT rechargeable battery pack died after 1.5 years of hard useage. I'm going to rebuild it and replace the batteries so I can use it with the charger again. I think I'll take pics and post the rebuild. I'm an Electronics Technician so it's really an easy thing to do but the pics might help out someone that isn't so electronically inclined and may save several $$$! HH, Mike

Yes it would work. The MXT has the same battery pack as the XLT. HH, Mike
