Battery in coil when needing replaced?

Tony N (Michigan)

Can one simply take out the old batter out of the coil if it goes bad or do you have to send the coil in to have the battery replaced?

I am sure youtube has how to do it, but honestly, for the $50 or, let XP do it and your covered if anything goes wrong.....

Send it in if and when it needs replacing.

The coil batteries, except the new HF coils, are imbedded in the coil to ensure water proofing.
They can be changed by the user, but like Sleepyjim said send it in and be covered if it goes wrong.
I've had my Deus for 5+ years and haven't seen any reduction in performance from the batteries.
When it comes time to replace mine I'll be sending mine to XP America.

I sent in my coil , remote and headphones and had them all replaced at the same time on my older model. It was $50 each and shipping up then they paid return because it was more than $99. Sweet deal I think.
