Beach and coil covers

Im about to start my beach hunting and just cant see a downside to having a coil cover on. Ive always used a cover everywhere.. BUT on the beach. Anyone that does much beach hunting knows how little soil it takes to make the Explorers chatter. If you hunt the lane at the waters edge or just in the water that water gets in and stays in. If you arent paying attention you may raise your coil above your box... we all know the problem that may create. The covers on the Explorers' coil are just not very tight.... you could bond them or even use a bond on the bottom, but i prefer neither of these options.
