this morning on a local beach with the se pro,i ran it in all metal and ferrous tone.is this the preferred method by all?sense at 24,gain 6.found $3.20 aud.been raining alot here so poor patronich at the beach.emubob

Ferrous only good because you can detect without discrimination. If in your place no iron try to use constant, like Pi detector, or in doubt targets switch from constant to ferrous to be sure its not iron.
