beach hunt?

Has anyone hunted with x70 model on the beach of ocean, and how did it do?

I hunted the DRY SAND beach all the time with my X30,and continue to hunt a couple times a week with the X705/HF DD coil...DRY SAND ONLY!Not a fan of either on the wet Gulf of Mexico salt water beaches!

I hunted at gulf shores. In dry sand it is great in wet sand not good.

x705 is a killer on the dry sand and in freshwater. Saltwater/ wet salt sand, not so much. I turned the sensitivity down to quiten the chatter which TIDed at 2, if I remember right. I never found anything in the wet sand, but I'm not sure there was anything to be found.
