Beach Question

roofer man

New member
Purchased a safari a few weeks ago and Iam on the bottom side of the learning curve yet but having fun .. Taking a trip in a few weeks to the beach and would very much like any advice on settings that you can give .. We live about 1200 miles inland and Iam realy looking foward to this new type of searching for a few days ... Thank You .. Mick

The Safari runs smooth and goes deep in the wet salt sand. Definitely use manual sensitivity as high as it is stable. On both east coast and west coat I've been able to run at 18 or 19. If you haven't done beach hunting before, make sure you get a scoop for the sand.

Good Luck!
