BeachHunter ID Question

MaineDigger

New member
Does anybody know if the "DISC" switch on the BeachHunter ID has the same effect on the ground balance as using the "LOCK" feature on the MXT? I owned an MXT and currently use a BHID as my primary Beach machine -- just wondering if perhaps White's may have built in the same functionality in disguise. It seems I find myself playing around with the GROUND/SENSITIVITY WAYYYYY too much on the BHID than I should need to, perhaps because I prefer to hunt in All Metal.

Thanks

I can say this the BeachHunter is a completely different circuit than the MXT. Designed by different people.

The basic BeachHunter circuit has a Minelab heritage. The MXT was a in house design.

The ground control switch on the MXT was set up as to lock the GB so GB doesn't happen while nugget hunting. Well at least sometimes one may need it to stay locked while nugget shooting.

It's been a while since I had a BeachHunter so my memory is a bit poor on it. Give me a few days, and email me. I'll have a better answer for you as I have one on the way.

Mr. Bill
