Beanfield day 2...two more injuns

today I went back to one of the beanfields I worked yesterday, I was hoping bad for some silver but it was not meant to be. I dug almost everything above iron today, hoping for an old nickel, but I got a lot of shotgun caps not pictured.

The 2 injuns are 1883, and 1903, takes me to 73 for the year, only need to find 2 more to hit my goal of 75 indians for the season.

I cannot make out for sure what the silver looking star piece says, I think it says Van Wert Ohio, S. Wayne St. other than that, no idea....and the tag says Cook Carriage Co, Cinicinnati US.

almost everything you showed dates to that period. That could also explain the variety of items found including that sheeps Crotal bell and the star token. Even the buttons are 2 piece type. Looks like a real sweeeeeet spot. There's got to be silver there. I can smell it from here.!!!! Great finds.PEACE:RONB

Looks like you and the ole etrac have became good buddies.

That star piece is a good luck token from the 50's. You could make your own at fairs etc.... There is probably a name in front of the address.
Nice digs!

Congrats Terry! I sure like the bell....very pretty design on it! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
