6.03 gram 14k white gold ring, had a jumpy signal until I got it out of the hole, then it settled down at 31-33. My settings were sens 70, thres -1, DE most all my signals today were very deep. So deep in fact coins wouldn't lock in on a TID number. Beautiful day outside today with the F70, hope I can stay on this hot streak. I am hitting those swim beaches hard while the lake is low.

Sorry no big story I have been up since 3rd shift last night and really don't have the patience for it.., lol. Those settings today are modified from my normal settings of sens 70, thres 0 DE, but the falsing in the iron and mineral heavy soil just kept me so busy I lowered them to quiet the F70 up a bit.

Very nice!! The weather's great right now down here, ain't it?! The doctor has my digging/detecting arm on "bed rest" for a couple of weeks so this nice weather and the new F70 just sitting there is killing me.

What does your ground balance read in your mineral heavy soil?

Most of the time the ground balance number don't move when I balance, so it stays at 90. I try to balance over a clear piece of ground, we have patches of bad soil and I normally just fight my way through them. The false signals are as hard or full as a normal signal, so I am learning to just deal with them, but they sure do slow me down.
You are doing well with that 70 on gold! From your totals, Looks like you paid it off easily!
