With Energizers I get in the area of 30 hrs+, when usin cheap or cut rate drugstore batteries i get around 7 hours= soo Ya save money on the purchase, +but ya buy JUNK= found this out on other electronic thingies=cheap is trouble=and drive ya goofy= this is MY OPINION=mebbe the cheapies work for some people, but not very good for the geezer=to each his own :garrett:
 
You gotta getcha some rechargables, bro':detecting:
 
Can't argue with metalhead. Rechargables are more money up front but pay off big time over the long haul. If you want to go really green you can even get the solar charger, takes longer to charge but costs zero to operate.
