When you live on a hill and there is a tornado and also living in a mobile home without a basement, not many options where to go to avoid a tornado...this gives us an opportunity for showing our faith in God. If we were to be taken by the tornado, we would not be too concerned as we know we would be with the Lord and our Father. If nothing happened we know God has protected us as He promised and it is not our time to leave this world behind.
The 2nd power outage had nothing to do with weather (though we think the first was caused by all the downstaters up here and everyone running fans and air conditioners that overloaded the system). This outage yesterday was caused by a 'snapped power pole' which had nothing to do with any of our latest storms or any auto accidents. No one knows why it happened. Was good it happened when it did as it gave me time (daylight) to get our generator up and running. (Didn't work during the previous outage late at night). Helps to be able to read the owners manual in daylight instead of under a flashlight.
Casey got off work early yesterday due to the outage, as did I. (I got paid for the 2 and a half hours anyway when we closed the ReStore due to no power.
Speaking of Casey, she needs prayers to be set on the right track. Can't go into details but she needs her head screwed on right...well, her heart (spirit). A battle is going on so pray for her...and Leelan as well.
Thanks everyone.
Congrats to all who made the forum hunt and those who found goodies. Have a blessed day.
