8th Century BC Greek is very possible,and my first thoughts were actually bracelet,because of the internal diameter being a tad on the small side,many thanks Knarfj,that's the nearest anybody's come to IDing it,I'll post it onto a French forum in the Languedoc-Roussilon area (that's on the south coast of France,which was once inhabited by Greeks,just over 200kms from find area) There are one or two guys on there who are very knowledgeable on that period,I'll post any results on this thread.Merci Encore!!!
