stars: Well due to a pulled tendon in my right arm (Tennis elbow LOL) I haven't been out detecting much lately,I'm having to swing the Deus left handed,which is awkward,but I'm getting the hang of it.
Anyway I got out for an hour or two in a small Pine woods fairly locally,other than a cloth covered button (circa 1950's) the place was clean except for cow shoes which are easily discriminated (google Fer

:please: 8th Century BC Greek is very possible,and my first thoughts were actually bracelet,because of the internal diameter being a tad on the small side,many thanks Knarfj,that's the nearest anybody's come to IDing it,I'll post it onto a French forum in the Languedoc-Roussilon area (that's on the south coast of France,which was once inhabited by Greeks,just over 200kms from find area) There are one or two guys on there who are very knowledgeable on that period,I'll post any results on this thread.Merci Encore!!! :cheers:
