i told you guys i had a good spot to hit with the ace 250-sniper well i hit it & boy i had a absolute stunner. my day started slow found 2 Penny's & 1 shilling for the first 2 hours then just as i was finishing the little area i was hunting out pops a sixpence & two more Penny's :).
as i was moving to another spot i"d done very well in this park i noted they had pulled a fence down &opened up a big area i"d not hit before so i headed over & started detecting. it was loaded with targets every were most were bits of coke can & 1c-2c coins but the odd penny was showing up then i hit a nice sounding target bouncing between the last two ID segments dug down past the junk layer in to hard pack dirt & the ID was sticking hard right then hit a peace of clay pipe poped that out dug a little deeper & out pops a nice grey coloured spoon i started to get excited turned it over & it"s got hallmarks :hot: as you can tell i was very happy the finds slowed down after that in the area i was griding so i moved over about 10m to under a tree i hit a penny then one more then all hell broke lose & Penny's & half Penny's were popping out every were all in a 12 foot square there was also a broken jam jar in the area i don"t know how many i pulled out of that little area but i was allot.
found a few more Penny's away from the tree then got a silver threepence two little tins one had a 30-40s lady on it then hit a large silver pendent:).
at this sage i was starting to feel a little light headed from lack of water & being hot & i knew i wasin"t detecting at 100% so packed up & went home.
all up i found 21 old coins three were silver- two silver items- $5.85- a pile of 1c-2c coins for scrap- a brass bike pump ( not in pic ) & a ton of junk.

Great hunt and some quality finds. Congrats!

I am glad you are having the same kind of results as soooooo many others using the ACE 250'Sniper combo! Thanks for sharing your great hunt with us

Great hunt and some sweet finds, hit that spot and hit it hard:thumbup:no MDing here as there is 31/2 feet of snow and a bunch more on the way, temp is -9 BBBrrrrr H.H. Kevin

What is the gold colored bracelet?

Maybe the coins were in the jam jar and were some tots life's savings. Are they still spendable (pennys and half pennys?)

Thanks for the fix.

Chris

Chris it"s silver plated junk.
yeah i was thinking they might have come from the jar as i think they were all from the 40s ( have to do some cleaning to make sure )

nice find Bill :surprised: now i don't think it was a stash as the area has pockets of coins & if your not in a pocket area there's few coins
