Best find of 2007

With the weather that's coming, this year is all but shut down so here's my best find for the year. It's a Cross 2 reales, minted in the early 1700's. I need to do electrolysis on it to clean it up.

This was found in a suspected muster field where I found a Cross 1 reale, a nice 1803 LC, a few other coppers and lots and lots of buttons, none military though. My hunting partner found a 1 reale and a bunch of buttons. What made the 2 reales special is that this little 2 acre field has been hunted and hunted, probably 15 times by me and gridded by my hunting partner. I found the reale and the 1803 on the same day in the same spot, which should be a lesson of never giving up on a spot that has produced in the past.

Thanks for the posts below, I didn't see them until I scrolled down. All good finds. Ron
