February gave us a nice piece of gold. Patty's Compass uncovered a nice 8 gram religious medallion and some other rings.

March has proven to be a great month so far too. Not only is it the start of warmer weather but also the start of Spring Break. Thousands of college students descending upon the beaches to let loose and get tan. From what I see here, its anything goes, and most rules are relaxed, to a limit.
These are just two finds from a local beach over the past weekends using the Quattro.
The 14kt ring was found about 6-8" deep in the soft sand, and weights in at just under 14 grams with 2 diamonds.

The next great find was a Circle of Life pendant.
Doing a sweep across the beach, I got a high pitch signal and a 38 on the display. At first I thought it was a quarter, since the area had been home to the Spring Breakers. Then I saw this thin chain attached to a round pendant. My first impression was that it was just someones bling and probably costume since you see them on so many people now a days.
I was shocked when I took a diamond probe to it and it checked out real. Total of 25 diamonds, possibly 1/4 or 1/2 carat in size.
Sorry the pics didn't come out as clear as I wanted.

As you can see she's claimed it already.
