Best hunt in a long time

Went to a 1890 home I had permission.Dug a ton of firsts,27 wheats,5 silver, tokens, small religious medals, and some junk.and some coins I need to clean better,I don't know what they are. That f75 is just an animal,I love it..I don't get out much, and this just made my day.Ive heard it said the fishers are relic machines,I will argue that point. Its defiantly a coin vacuum too.

Stock coil, that's my f75 gold I just got last month..I don't think this home was ever hunted,I was a little overwhelmed at all the wheats..my legs are like rubber from all the getting down to dig,it was like every 2 feet and bam, another high note....I didn't dig but a few midtones,I was too much in search of silver..I'll go back and hit it again,I didn't stop for lack of targets, cause I'm sure I could double what I got..I was just beat.

Does anyone recognize this coin?i have a few more old coppers I need to clean, not sure what they are but they have detail.

As much as I like silver, that little military figurine would have made my day !

Holly cow what a good hunt, and you just getting started there.. More to come for sure:beers:

They are a first for me,I think they're made of lead or some type of soft metal,I had to bend the gun or bazooka back ,it wasn't straight. But yea I think they're pretty cool too.I need to clean them better, did a fast job on everything to get a pick. The one pick I can't upload is everything I dug before I cleaned it,,junk and all.

I would guest you've just hit the tip of the ice berg in that site. Probably 10 times more good stuff left. That silver 1/2 dollar would make any body get excited, real nice find.

Nice finds, a good site like that is getting rare to find. For sure keep at it, who knows what else will turn up.

Tom.

What a great hunt and just think.-There is more---------------------------------------------affter1-------------------------------------

Thanks everyone.Ill take top dog for a week, everyone gets they're turn.Tthis hunt was really good because it was a old home, and I'm 100 percent sure it was never hit, just by the finds and how ez they were.?.But,this is my 3rd go with the f75,,and I now know I gave up before I even knew what half the settings were for.I wanted immediate gratification from the machine without understanding what my machine was capable of.
My first f75ltd2 I was digging all kinds of lead and pull tabs that kept high toning as coins..I got fed up and sold it..I never knew 3h gave not only nickels a high tone, but any other low conductor too for the most part. That was my fault, user error.
So,now that I've gone over the manual several times, watched videos and had some good in field experiences,,I've learned the basics of this machine..It is a very good machine, and in my opinion does not get the respect it should in the metal detecting world by some.
Every coin I dug I knew it was a coin, just by the audio.Im to the point to where I don't even look at the numbers, just the depth reading. Not that it's completely accurate but I'd like to know how deep the target is.
The silver half was only about 5 inches deep, same with the mercy and the Rosie's..The wheats were deep though, some a good 8 inches down without exaggeration.

Yeah, 5 silvers with a good ole Walker half in the mix is a mighty fine hunt. Like digging those lead toys. Good hunting! HH jim tn
