I have it narrowed down to either the Teknetics Gamma Or the Fisher F5 within my bugget as a second detector. Would like to do a little beach hunting in the wet sand also . Do any users of the two have any experience with either on wet salty sand that would be helpful as far as the best performer? Thanks in advance
 
Sorry Reddog777 I have never used my Gamma on a beach so I have no real data to pass along in that regard but I have used it on black sand ball fields in my area with no problems. These same fields made my Pioneer 505 false like nuts. Maybe someone else has, and can chime in. Good luck with which ever one you choose.
