Best tones for coin hunting With the T2se

Coinseeker 78

New member
I have been trying to find a tone for coin hunting with my T2. I have tried all of them and decided to use 4 tones setting with my 5 inch coil with discrimination at 4 and sensitivity at 70 to 80 where I can get quiet operation. I have found coins as deep as 8 inches and nails as deep as 9 inches. I have marked Iron to 11 inches with this setting when I pop over to the DP mode to check on very weak signals even ones that sound off but the screen stays clear. Anyone who has settings they feel will unmask coins and go deeper let me know what you use so I can try them. I like the 4 tone because I can unmask coins with the high coin signal you get close to iron.I dig if i can get a two way high tone and occasionally a strong one way high tone. Let me know what you think of this setting for coin hunting good or bad. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I am new to this machine, but found today 3 tones works a treat for me, all my coins give the high pitch tone, the pull tabs give the middle tone and the low tone i not really hearing as i got the machine set to discriminate 60 and sensitivity i set to 73 and if it chatters drop to 60.
I have dug up a couple coins today that had a nail in the ground near them and still i got a good high tone.
