Better make that a barbershop quartet.

Well, I went back today, and started doing the same general area from a slightly different angle.
Got another barber quarter within about 5 minutes.
Then got another signal that was kind of weird and started to dig that. Started finding bricks buried about 10"-12" down. Figured it was just a couple, let the owner know and they told me they wanted to see whether it was a foundation and went and got me a big shovel.
Dug out the hole a bit and found another 5 bricks and an ash layer visible along the sides of the hole a few inches above where the bricks were. Still had some sort of target supposedly in there (along with a bunch of iron) but my machine started making the "your batteries will die in 3 minutes" sound, and I called it a day after only about 10 minutes of hunting. Need to get a car charger and a spare battery.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's more barbers to find, I've only done a very small fraction of the property so far.

You're cruisin', Chris!

Be nice to see what else you pull out of there.

Sure is fun when you see that Big Silver in the hole and then realize that it's Barber. You should get an extra Alkaline Pack and buy yourself some Rechargeables and a Charger since this would be a bit cheaper than buying a Rechargeable Battery from Minelab. Hope the Barbers keep comin' for ya and Good Luck and HH to you on your next visit.:detecting:

I would have thought the outhouse would usually be out back. Apparently some old photos of the place exist though, which I should be able to take a look at.
I found some more holes in the front yard with the same ash layer in them. Not sure what they were burning in the front yard.
I know if I had wooden farmhouse I wouldn't go starting a fire that close to it.
