I resonantly returned a pinpointer to Garrett for repair and it was discovered to be Counterfeit. take a look at the pictures it's pretty obvious when it's side by side with a real one. Can "pinpoint" which one is real ?? yeah I had to do that LOL
 
The bottom one is fake. The Ts aren't consistent with each other. Overall, the font on the fake one is more bubbly and girly, if that's the right word.
 
R's look different too.
