General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Of all the years I've been a member of Findmall, this is the FIRST time I've posted negative feedback on a member but feel it is necessary & may save someone else some grief.----Be pre-warned--this guy is SO evasive, won't answer/respond to his Classified Forum F/S ad---won't answer/respond to a P.M. to him (after he's read it and had PLENTY of time to do so).----He had a Compadre FS today & within 45 minutes or so, I said I would "take it". (you can see his detector FS ad).----I P.M. him on the deal for address to send payment to, he reads the P.M. & nothing out of him.----I wait all day to hear from him on the ad or a P.M.--and nothing.-----I fully realize a person has the right to change their mind on selling something but there's such a thing as common courtesy also (AND COMMUNICATION).----Take a look at the ad people!-----Then later this evening he posts that the detector is no longer for sale.-----Thanks for the consideration Bud, it would have SURELY been nice if you would have let me know something as I did you.--I'll remember that the next time I see you have something else up for sale.---I hope everybody else remembers it to.-----------Del
 
Look on the bright side Del, at least you didn't send payment and then never received the detector. I understand how frustrating it can be I have more than once had a detector for sale on the forums and had a person say that they would take it and turn three or four others away saying it has been sold or spoken for then never hear from the person again, and then have to figure out who was next in line that wanted it. I realize that things can come up but there is no reason for not letting the person onthe other end know.
 
Well yeah Steve my friend, every cloud has a silver lining & it could have been worse---I could have sent the guy the payment and never received the detector, at least that didn't happen.-----I try to operate by the "Golden Rule" (as most of the folks do on this great Forum).----Unfortunately however, there is a rotten apple in every barrel.----We all "live and learn", don't we!
