As those of us who remember our high school Shakespeare may remember the Ides of March were an ill omened time of strife that Julius Caesar was warned about just before his assassination by Brutus and his crew of disgruntled senators.
I was thinking about how confrontational some of the posts have been over the last few days, starting on March 15th (the Ides of March) and I remembered the quote from the play 'Julius Caesar'.
Let's hope this is all behind us now and that everyone drank their fill over St. Patrick's Day. Nothing like some green beer to put a pirate in a better mood, except for a big haul of swag of course.
I'm headed out into the surf for this afternoon's low tide to try and get my fair share of pirate loot.
