Yesterdays hunt really paid off!

Had a permission to go on a park, and my second dig this pretty lady came up..23k gold ring with a 8,2mm diamond at 2 carat..TID 36 on my -terra 705.
First gold ring with the X-terra...jipiie..

Also very interested to get the value!!:)

The ring is made 1904,but it have obviously been used for some time.
Found it at 7 inch depth...

Sure makes that $700 investment on an Xterra worth it about now... GREAT FIND! Congrats!

That's odd, don't think that I have ever seen a 23K ring, I would have thought that it would be too soft. My wife has a 20K ring that belonged to my great grandmother, that was the highest I had seen in a ring.

Well done!!

These are the stories I like best!

I have a friend well north of me that uses a Minelab, he uses it to find nuggets.

He swears by those machines, they find gold!
.

OMG that is one killer of a ring! I would be quite certain that that ring alone is worth more than your XTerra!

Awesome!

Yeah its not often you find a 23 karat ring with that diamond. But in the -80s I found a thick 24 karat gold ring.Yes they are soft, very soft and heavy..
So this ring contains 99% gold. And its pretty wide, cus non of my female related can use it,luckily...:) Guessing the weight to a minimum 7-8 gram..
Cant wait to get out with my 6"DD...

Excuse me whilst I wipe the slobber off the keyboard :surprised:
Beautiful big honker !

Huge Rock! :yikes: Congrats! HH Randy
