Big Foot Coil for MXT

stouto

New member
Thinking about purchasing a big foot coil for my MXT for searching ball fields. What has been your experience with the big foot coil, both good and bad? Thanks in advance.
Jess

I have one for my Prizm IV and i love it.The coil works great when you have a large area that needs to be covered in a shorter period of time. Works like a giant wiper blade of sorts

It's been covered before. I know Nancy-IL and Treasure Mike both use it with their MXT, like it and have had great success. I'd search the forum for Mike's posts. Rob

Wouldn't be without it when searching large play areas. It's light weight, easy to swing and pinpoints extremely accurate. Only downfall is it doesn't go near as deep as the other coils. Easily will go 4"-5" inches deep. Also while hunting playground equipment, it will get right up to the bars and find those quarters, etc. where others have missed. It will clean up a large area in no time and will pay for itself over and over again. Good luck and keep us posted. Nancy

Question?
I understand the bigfoot covers alot of area faster, but if it doesn't get the debth
then whats the point of something that big. Why not the Whites 12inch coil. Still
cover lots of area and get deeper. Am I mistaken?
