Bigfoot versus 18 inch Excelerator coils

stouto

New member
Anyone know of any tests comparing performance of Bigfoot versus 18 inch Excelerator coils? Thanks.
Jess

Jess, I use my bigfoot 80% of the time It is light and you can cover a lot of ground. Mind you it takes some getting used to ground balancing and pinpointing. If you are coin hunting on large fields or playgrounds Bigfoot stomps. As for the 18 inch Excelerator coil I have never used one.

I prefer Bigfoot I had 18" Excelerator and sold it since it's HEAVY -too,too heavy and got really no the depth that is described

I'd get the 12" spider coil. That's just me though, unless your in highly mineralized soil, then I'd get the 14DD. HH Rick
