hi bill ,just saw your comments re-black coloured hammys ,not quiet true i'm afraid it depends on soil content and up here they often come out dull grey or even shiney .in fact the lizzy threepence i found last week came out shiny ,just washed it under the tap and took piccys .but i suspect theres more of them there due to its overall condition so its a case of you pays your money and takes your chance .
