Birthday hunt with meager take.......

New member
My birthday present to myself was going hunting......beautiful day, 67

Nice to be able to get out this time of year Roland, I bet you had a good time on your birthday. My birthday is this month, sounds like detecting might be the best present. I don't know about down in Tyler but up here in North Texas the ground is hard as a rock, we haven't had any rain in months. HH - Randy

Might be meager, but still great to be out swinging. As you know, the next swing could bring you the BIG ONE! We were 59 here yesterday, but conditions are about to change. Possible 2-5" of snow Sun and into Mon. That amount of snow here about shuts everything down. I'm not sure we even have one snowplow for the entire county. Bunch of sand and salt spreading trucks, though. Good luck your next time out. HH jim tn

hope the rest of your day was better!..happy birthday! roland!

I'm in Northeast Texas,.......we have had little rain and the ground is quite dry here, as well. It's still okay at the soccer park, but, at the baseball park it is har clay! Just had to get out yesterday, today the weather is supposed to change and they weather is calling for sleet/ice tonight, tomorrow and Monday! Three days of winter in a row! Don't know if I'll be able to stand it!
