Birthday Hunt

Got a few days off for my birthday and went on a couple hunts.Went to an old property from late 1800's. been there before and did ok. This was the first chance I had to go back.Old man winter got in the way.Ended up with 19 coins.Mostly clad. 1 wheat 1949,and got my first seated dime 1897.Wow I sure got excited. The dime is very worn. It's half as thick as a regular dime. Can barley read the date but I still love it.I also went to a park that I've been going to a few times. It's not an old park (1987) but there are coins everywhere.Probley got 120 coins so far.Yesterday was no different. In 3 hours I dug 80 coins,(don't know dates till I clean them) Plus a bent up silver ring and a junk necklace. Also found a old token Says good for 10 cents in trade on one side and Scalzo's cafe on the other side.Talked to an old neighbor he said that place was riped down 20 or 30 years ago.Cool find though. You never know what your going to dig up.Thats what makes it fun.Having a ball with my Safari. Keep on digging see ya.

Can't read the date to well. Thought it was 1897. the last number looks like a 7. And it is a seated. Thanks for the tip Mark .

Great finds Dave, and Happy Birthday! What a BD present, your very own seated. I'd take that!! The token sounds cool. Love finding them.
That is a lot of digging,
Bunker
