Hi all,
Twas my birthday on Sunday and my beloved bought me a sniper coil :surprised:, so tomorrow i am going back to the drained lake to put it to its test, i would appreciate any help, suggestions etc, will post find during the week, its a very trashy area. also i picked up a rock tumbler for
 
So....does that change your name to Bernie 64 :lol:

My only suggestion is to run it wide open sensitivity if you can, or just back off a notch until it runs stable.
 
Glad to have you on board with the MD tumbling society. Because I like finding modern coins so much, I tumble all the time. My tumbler is going now. It will be going next weekend.

Congrats on the old US coins. I find a UK coin every once in a while which is always surprise.
 
Belated happy birthday! You're gonna enjoy that sniper coil. Your new tumbler will constantly be on with all the coins you'll be finding now.:bouncy: Congrats on finding that old wheat penny! Happy Hunting!
 
thanks for the comments, went out with the coil to the drained lake as i said, boy that coil is good, now this is a very x 10 :thumbdown: trashy area, it was picking up coin in between cans i would get the tone for cans and the coin boing, i dug it and out comes a coin brill, found a gun also........sadly a toy one from the days when they where aloud to make toy guns look real, lots of coins not many new ones, mostly from the 20's to the late 40's lots of fishing weights, i will be using them myself (second hobby fishing) and other bits and bobs, will post pics soon, thanks again, oh by the way no cake left my five kids ate it all. :thumbup:
