Black SAND the real deal ETRAC

this IS the only detector to pass this test.....

It is not an explorer period

will not HIT on a paper coffee cup filled with 1/2 inch of concentrated Black sand......tone stays the same in the Crop mode sorry can

not remember the name of One of the three screens available on the fly, I think some of yall are calling it ......All metal and that is fine ...but it is a lot more and effects the innards when you switch to this mode......

the main thing is any other detector including most pulse detectors will hit this sand I have.....

If you put a nickel in the cup and angle the sand to cover it good you still get a digable nickel (when using a nickel) or silver quarter (when using a silver quarter) tone ...

I have said it once and I will say it Again this thing is light years ahead of The explorer ......

the ones that try to treat IT as such, A explorer will have a tuff go! The ferrous thingy that has yalls panties in a wad is a none issue

if you know this machine

forget all you know except to swing it properly.......study study study the manual and hunt.......

the biggest second mistake will be over driving it and going crazy with the audio gain.....

well i hope this helps......

I will not repeat myself again Thank you for your patience I am learning and finding as fast as I can!

Happy Trails

There has been the Explorer, Explorer II & currently the Explorer SE. Also there are a whole load of other Minelab models including the new E-Track, I fail to see after all the reports that have been posted how anyone can still think this is a new Explorer model when it is so radically different in the way it works, feels and performs.

Jim when you typed:

I'm assuming by crop mode you are referring to coin mode and all metal as I keep incorrectly stating is quick mask screen, wide open? Correct me please if I don't have either right, but which are you referring to effecting the innards of the machine? In what way?
