Todays tip: Dig those pull tabs!!!!!
I almost walked past this one. It hit dead on solid pulltab just above nickel. I had been digging tabs hoping to find gold but it was getting late and I thought I would only dig "good" signals while I still had some daylight. Took one step past this hit then thought I better stick to my plan and dig the tabs.
I guess that was the right decision. I took the picture after having it appraised. I took it on a mirror trying to show all the details. The jeweler did a quick clean up on it and said he would give me a full appraisel for $45 because there are too many diamonds to even make a guess. The Marquis(?) diamond alone appraised at about $800. It has 45 stones, all diamonds, band is 14K. It has 10 small Brilliant cut stones and 34 Bagets(?) Needless to say my best find ever.

That is a real beauty and great find. That is the question to pulltab or not? No detector can tell the difference 100% of the time between a gold ring and a pulltab so you did great with this one.

Man, a ring like that; and not more arguements on "you going detecting again?"
